Starting with the Builder, press to bring up the Objects menu. There is nothing to purchase with that one, since it's just for landscaping. You now need to buy everything available between everyone except the UFO. You are able to toggle between the four characters in Creator mode: the Builder, the Brawler, Mola Ram and the UFO. Start another blank Creator mode level, and select any of the Raiders of the Lost Ark themes. Place the correct baseplates along the track to complete it, then drive the Hotrod to the end of the road and on the button to complete the tutorial. The fourth tutorial casts you as the Enemy Boxer and covers putting down baseplates. To complete this level, place a vehicle in each of the four areas and play the level to drive them over the respective buttons. The third tutorial has you playing as Mola Ram, and covers vehicle placement. Terraforming comes in sharp and smooth, the former giving definite edges and cliffs and smooth making more rolling hills. The second tutorial puts you at the controls of the UFO from Crystal Skull 3 and covers the basics of terraforming, including raising and lowering land, as well as adding water to levels. Once the first tutorial is finished you will have access to all of the story levels to edit, however go ahead and complete the other three tutorials first. The first tutorial will cover basic object placement.
They are very self-explanatory and will cover everything you will need to know about this mode to earn all of the achievements. You can't actually begin building levels of your own until you complete the four Level Builder tutorials. Select this set, then select 'Level Builder' in the upper left corner. The Creator Mode is a set on the main menu of the game, just like all the levels before it. It's recommended to leave this section of the game until all six story sets have been completed. In the same manner as the remainder of the game, you won't be able to access Creator Mode until you've completed the first level of Crystal Skull 1.
